Margaret M. (Cain) Callahan of Norfolk, Ma, passed away peacefully Saturday December 23, 2023 at the age of 83. Margaret was born August 15, 1940 in Boston, Ma, and grew up in West Roxbury. She loved being a nurse and proudly served her community working at locations such as Southwood Hospital, Forge Park Assisted Living, and NORCAP Foxboro, amongst others. Margaret was always on the move and loved to walk and exercise. She enjoyed trips to the beach, and camping. Margaret loved socializing with her friends at Hillcrest Village, especially spending time with one of her best friends Danny Fallon. Beloved mother of Paul and his wife Leona Callahan of Bellingham, Ma, and Mark and his wife Christine Callahan of East Longmeadow, Ma. Adoring grandmother of Timothy James, Sean Mark, and Charles Blain. Cherished great grandmother of Chandler Blain. Loving sister of Nancy Lang of Plymouth, Ma and niece of Sister Catherine Ginty (SSJ). A Funeral Mass will be held January 10, 2023 at St. Jude’s Church in Norfolk, Ma. at 10 am, with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret’s name to UMass Memorial Health Worcester for the Neuro ICU and Acute Care at give@umassmemorial.org.
