Origin: The Pomelo, pummelo, or in scientific terms Citrus maxima or Citrus grandis, is the largest citrus fruit from the family Rutaceae and the principal ancestor of the grapefruit. They originated in Southeast Asia.

Flavor Profile: Platinum Rose Pomelos have an extremely unique and floral flavor with a firm, crunchy, and bouncy texture. It has a soft sweetness and almost no sourness to bring out the flower-like flavors.

How To Eat: Platinum Rose Pomelos can be eaten in the same ways as a grapefruit. They have a thick rind and membrane that is edible but tougher to chew.

The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

-One Fruit contains one Pomelo
-Small Box contains 2-4 Pomelos
-Large Box contains 4-8 Pomelos

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.

Origin: Silverberry originated in temperate/subtropical areas of Asia. It is now growing on our small South Florida farm!

Flavor Profile: Silverberry has a tangy and mildly sweet tomato flavor with a hint of umami.

How to Eat: Silverberries are picked when fully ripe and can be enjoyed raw or cooked immediately upon delivery. They offer a variety of culinary uses. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND squeezing and massaging the fruit before consuming.

Tester Box contains 8-12 fruits.

Small Box contains 16-24 fruits.

Origin: The Gold Nugget mandarin was bred in California and is a hybrid of Wilking (King Tangor x Willowleaf Mandarin) x Kincy (King Tangor x Dancy Mandarin).

Flavor Profile: This mandarin has a rich, sweet citrus flavor because there is some orange in its lineage. It's named gold nugget because the fruit’s rind is bumpy and ribbed. Unlike some other mandarins, Gold Nuggets do not usually have a nipple at the stem end where the fruit attaches to the tree.

How To Eat: These Gold Nugget Mandarins are ready to eat as soon as they are picked and can be consumed as soon as you receive them. Gold Nugget Mandarins are the perfect fast and delicious snack- or meal! Simply peel and enjoy! They're very sweet and juicy.

Origin: Gros Michel Bananas entered the historical record in the 1830s when a French planter, Jean Pouyat, noticed the plant growing on the Caribbean island of Martinique. Locally, it became known as the Martinique banana. It spread through the Caribbean and beyond. This variety used to be grown commercially but now is extremely rare and difficult to find.

Flavor Profile: These dehydrated Gros Michel bananas taste like banana bread, and may even remind you of your favorite banana candy.

How To Eat: Consume as is for an easy snack, or warm slightly for a fun treat. Enjoy with nut butter or chocolate for the sweetest healthy dessert.

Miami Fruit's Jaboticaba Jelly is handmade in small batches from the sweet inner juice of the Jaboticaba fruit. Our Jaboticaba is 100% locally grown, right here in sunny South Florida!

Flavor Profile: Jaboticaba is sweet and acidic, with tough, tart skin and a pale, fleshy center that's incredibly sweet! It makes a wonderful jelly.

Marang tastes like a roasted marshmallow- but better! This jackfruit relative contains one small seed in every succulent little white pulpy pod. The flavor is sweet and delicious, and the texture and look are similar to a mix of jackfruit and cacao pulp.

Artocarpus odoratissimus is a species of flowering plant in the Moraceae family. It is a commonly called marang, madang, timadang, terap, tarap, kiran, green pedalai, or johey oak.

Enjoy the pulp frozen or thawed. If using it to make a smoothie or ice cream, make sure to remove the seeds before blending.

Langsat is also known as Lanzones, Bonbon and Longkong. This super rare fruit is hardly ever seen in the United States. We ship these fruits straight to your door!

The flavor profile reminds us of lychee and pomelo. It’s sweet with citrus undertones.

The texture is juicy and slightly creamy. Langsat fruit separates easily in sections like a mandarin. All of the inside is edible, but each fruit contains a few seeds.

Some of the larger fruits have one or two fully developed seeds. Other langsats may have no seeds or a few underdeveloped seeds.

The outer appearance and feel of the fruit is similar to a fig/longan. Inside the fruit may have some small discolorations, but this is completely natural and safe to eat.

To eat, pour langsat into a bowl of water and let thaw for 20-30 minutes. Frozen Langsat will oxidize and turn brown if thawed without using this “bowl of water” method. We like the taste best when fully thawed, whereas durian we feel tastes best still slightly frozen.

Ice Apple comes from the Borassus Palm which is native to the Indian subcontinent (especially in South India) and Southeast Asia. The tree can grow up to 100 feet high which makes it extremely difficult to harvest. This super rare fruit is hardly ever seen in the United States. We ship these fruits straight to your door!

The flavor is very mild. It's best compared to coconut meat.

The texture is a mix between coconut meat and aloe vera gel.

To eat, let thaw for at least an hour. We recommend fully thawing them before eating. Frozen products must be stored in the freezer, not the fridge.

D24 Durian, also known as Sultan Durian is typically a very pale yellow/white color. The texture is super thick, dense, and creamy when thawed. The flavor can be described as sophisticated with hints of white chocolate.

Each box contains 1 whole frozen D24 durian grown in Malaysia.

We ship frozen durian in an insulated box with dry ice or cold packs to ensure freshness upon delivery. The box, tape, and cooler are all biodegradable/recyclable. We use dry ice to keep the frozen durian cold.

Miami Fruit's Malaysian Durian is always tree ripe and tree fallen, which ensures the richest flavors and most nutrients are present in every bite. Because they are tree ripened, their shelf live would only be about two days fresh. We freeze the durians on the same day they are harvested. It is impossible to ship fresh tree fallen durian from Malaysia to the USA which is why we choose frozen, as the next best thing.

This durian is available to ship right to your home because we have been working for years to make this happen. A lot goes into importing durian that most people don't see, but we hope you enjoy the fruit of our labor, we definitely are!

The shell of the Hulu durian is known for its hourglass shape. The color of the flesh can vary from warm yellow to completely white.

Kampong is typically known as the natural village durian meaning this kind of durian was grown by seed and not grafted. Because of this, you never know exactly what you are going to get with kampong, which is why it is sometimes referred to as mystery durian. Every kampong durian tastes very different, unlike grafted durian varieties which can all taste very similar.

Kampong is actually prized for being genuine because it is not a designer variety.

The fruit comes from older trees and is valued for its unique flavor with strong bitter notes, which is a common theme among old Malaysian durian varieties. The strong bitterness typically comes from trees that are 30+ years old.

Grafted durian trees are more valuable than seedlings and older trees cannot be grafted which means there is a possibility that someday kampong may be endangered if farmers replace their old trees with designer varieties.
