All races will begin and end in beautiful Wilson Plaza on the UCLA campus. Run for HEALING, Race for OPPORTUNITY, Walk for EMPOWERMENT! Features of the Event Saturday January 20, 2019 Location: Wilson Plaza, UCLA half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1K fun run Pre-Race Enjoy an inspirational sunrise service Stretch & meditation in the yoga garden Take a selfie or team photo in the photo booth Finish Line Festivities Free Finishers Beer Enjoy some live music Visit the health and fitness expo Pick up some freebies in the swag booth Have a stretch session in the yoga garden Have a meal or snack from one of the food trucks WRLA 2019, UCLA benefits Safe Passage Heals, whose mission is to help break the cycle of domestic abuse by healing and empowering women and their children, enabling them to live new, safe and productive lives. Safe Passage Heals supports and assists women and their children to heal and rebuild their lives after they have escaped domestic violence and abusive relationships. EVENT SCHEDULE Day before the race - Saturday January 19 Packet Pick up, 12:00-5:00 pm Race Day - Sunday, January 20 Check-in & Late Registration, 5:00 am to 6:30 am Check in location – Wilson Plaza Sunrise Service, Jim Steele, 6:00 am Yoga warmups on the event stage, 6:00 am Half Marathon Start, 6:30 am 10K Start, 7:00 am 5K Start, 7:30 am 1K Fun Run Start, 9:30 am All races complete by 11:30 Health & Fitness Expo open 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Live Entertainment 9:00-12:00 Event close 1:00 pm PARKING Parking map link COURSE INFO 5K & 10K will be run on a 5K course entirely on UCLA campus, 2 loops for 10K Half marathon will follow a similar course with added turnouts, for 3 loops.
