THE HISTORY OF COINED BEDLAHS AND JEWELRY Coined bras and girdles were a mainstay for American Cabaret (AMCAB) dancers throughout the early days of the dance in the U.S. We also used beaded costumes, but, most dancers preferred the coined ones.
